Tea Cup Easel Card and a Little Give Away

Tea Cup Easel Card

Hi there!  Just a quick post to let you know that I have almost finished a tutorial for my Tea Cup Easel Card just in time for Mother's Day!  I made a few slight modifications to the original design and used a different colour combo.

Update - April 30th, 2012
The tutorial is now available to purchase as a pdf file for $4 (AUD) and Australian residents will have the option of buying a kit (die cuts only - no stamped images) and the tutorial for $10 (includes postage).

I have used the beautiful Elements of Style stamp and colour combo from SU, consisting of Pool Party, Early Espresso, Wild Wasabi, Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake, along with a variety of dies from three other companies (See project recipe from original post).

Just to make things a little more interesting, I've decided to have ...

A Little Give Away -
I'd love to know what colour combos you would suggest for the doily, tea cup, rim and bird. Please leave a comment with this post to go into the draw to win a free kit with your colour choice, along with the tutorial (International readers are welcome to enter).

Make sure you check back here on the 1st May to see if you have won!

(Please note, this tutorial will no longer be available for purchase from November 2012 as I will be replacing it with a new one using only Stampin' Up! supplies)

Thanks for stopping by.

Such a beautiful card, Bronwyn! I love all things "tea" and like you Mum, also my china teacups. I would love to see this card in navy trim and yellow or pink flowers and doily.
Thanks for the chance to win this beauty!

Magnifique réalisation une fois encore
Je verrai bien la réalisation avec un napperon rose petite pirouette, la tasse melon mambo et la déco tasse et oiseau en papier désign "beau château" l'imprimé rose ou l'imprimé rose et marron doux.

Hi Bronwyn, I love your teacup card and look forward to the tutorial. I would like it with 'Beau Chateau' DSP, Marina Mist doily and the edges Soft Suede. I might even put the rooster image instead of the bird!!

This is just so pretty Bronwyn! My Mother gave me my great grandmother's china. So I would love to see silver trim & doily, soft pink flowers, soft green leaves and a pretty creamy background!!

Gosh the teacup is so pretty it would look beautiful in any vintage/retro inspired colours.

My favourites would be pinks with chocolate browns or blues/yellows. Maybe pool party, soft suede and daffodil delight, a la Attic Boutique :)

Simply gorgeous Bronwyn! I like the colours you have used already on both cups, but my suggestion would be Elegant Eggplant for the trim and high lite the centres of the flowers, Wisteria Wonder for main colour of the flowers Daffodil Delight for the smaller flowers,Lucky Limeade for the leaves with Old Olive, White Doily and Crumb Cake and Soft Suede for the Bird.
Wow what an amazing card, you come up with just so many designs. I would consider the following colour combination Lucky Limeade, Rose Red, Very Vanilla and Basic Grey.

For tea cup and saucer, I'd have to say, I would go with something in pastel colors, white doily and maybe butterfly in place of the bird

love the card. If I had this tutorial most of my firends collect china or have a certain set like St Albert China so it would be nice to do a card in the colors of their china and then they could set the card in thier cabinets infront of their china.what a lovely gift and color co-ordinated.
Thanks for this opportunity to win

This is so incredibly gorgeous, down to every last detail. I am in awe every time I look at it (which is quite often, I will add). Beautiful work!
