A CASE from the Impressions Magazine

A CASE from the Impressions Magazine

What do you do when you have a workshop, work 4 days a week, need to make a birthday card, have a submission to make as a DT Member for Just Add Ink, have SWAPS to make for Sydney, the housework to do, feed the family etc. etc. ? The answer is you CASE - Copy and share everything!

I love the SU Impression's Magazine that arrives once a month in the mail. It has some wonderful ideas for Make 'n' Takes and demos. I have another 3 cards that I'd love to CASE and share with you later.

It isn't exactly the same as the lovely sample in the magazine as I didn't have all the stamp sets or rub-ons and I added a little dragonfly to give it more dimension. The make 'n' take that we did last night used Very Vanilla Cardstock, Tangerine Tango, paper piercing and some Kiwi Kiss/Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon instead of the clip. Will post that one another time.

A Close Up of the Dragonfly with Dazzling Diamonds on its Wings.

Project Recipe:
Stamp Sets: Organic Grace (L1 Hostess), Rustic Rooster (L2 Hostess), Friends 24-7, Upsy Daisy, Vintage Labels
Cardstock: Sahara Sand, Kiwi Kiss, Pumpkin Pie (textured), Whisper White
Ink: Basic Gray, Sahara Sand, Tangerine Tango, Kiwi Kiss
Accessories: Clip Assortment, Linen Thread, Dazzling Diamonds, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Scallop Edge Punch, Trio Flower Punch, Silver Brads, Dimensionals, sewing machine

Here's a little technique demo that I did last night. Love Notes are perfect to use for simple demonstrations.

Crayon Resist Technique

Project Recipe:
Stamp Sets: Happy Moments (SAB), Baroque Motifs
Cardstock: Glossy White, Pale Plum
Ink: Staz On Black, Pale Plum, Perfect Plum
Accessories: Sponge Dauber, 3/4" Circle and 1 3/4/ " Circle Punches, Dimensionals, Love Notes, white wax crayon

This technique can be seen in the Tutorial Section at Just Add Ink. It was put together by the lovely, Danielle Daws.

I can't show you the other technique that I did as a similar sample will appear on the Just Add Ink site next week.

It was great to share an evening with a lovely group of ladies (and the Hostess' Hubby who snuck in for the Make'n'Take session). I can't wait to have a workshop when the new goodies are released next week! If you'd like to hold one for yourself and receive some lovely free stamps and accessories, providing you live in and around the Launceston area, please don't hesitate to contact me - bronaddinktivedesigns@gmail.com

Until next time ...
